UC170a/b - Swedish Delights, pt. 3
zz panthers
Back from vacation (in Turkey, highly enjoyable, try it!) here we go again with 40 non-compiled tunes from Sweden. Note that I avoided overlappings with the StoraPopBoxen-4CD set that appeared in the shops in these days so most of the sounds selected here should be new to your ears even if you’re an avid collector of Swedish Beat. Tracks are in chronological order, btw. Turn up the volume and enjoy!

Thanks as always. That cover of Hey Joe is astounding - and I really like the Pop-Ties cut, which is just... I don't have words.

Hi Michael !

Schöne Sachen aus Ikealand hast Du da ausgebuddelt !
Bisherige Highlights beim flüchtigen Durchhören der ersten CD:
Die zerstörte Stimme von Mr. Crafton (Kraft- Ton ??);
das strange My Babe der Strangers;
der ziemlich intensive Work Song.

Du hast recht:
Nichts dabei, was mir vorher schon mal untergekommen wäre !

Wow I always wanted to go to Turkey. That must have been great. Sometimes I still call it Asia minor. Did you see Constantinople aka Istanbul?

Unfortunately, there was no time to visit Istanbul , just 10 days at the seaside (Antalya) and 3 days Cappadocia (doin the ballon-ride). Turkey was amazing all the way, people most friendy, good humoured, girls who would smile at me and sometimes wave from a window (they never do that in the "Western" world, right?), a various kitchen, nice beer (Efes), everything superclean, never a problem, all services always sharp on time, I felt like in Japan. Sure I'll go again, there's many more breathtaking sites to see (like Pamukkale, for instance, google it!)
