Intervallo: Spanish Yé-Yé, Vol. 6
Los Diana & Tom
My pal Miguel from Madrid continues to baffle me with more rarities from the Spanish 60s. I’ve got no clue where he digs them up but sure I won’t complain. As he’s got a much wider taste than me, I have once again done a selection focusing on Beat, Garage and a little Syke from 64 to 68. So get another charge of that essential approach the Spanish yé yé-combos are famous for, mixed with some cover-versions and a few pretty funny original tunes that should deliver good listening pleasure. For the rest, the Shakers’ “Yeah!” at he end of No volveré says it all. Muchas gracias, of course, to Miguel at http://66spanishgarage.blogspot.it/, keep your mojo workin’ mate!

I read somewhere (perhaps here) a long time ago on a Spanish group who recorded in the sixties and was backed by UK group THE END.
But I don't remember the name of the Spanish group .
