UC151/UC152 – Beat from the Boot – parts 1 & 2
Here’s a hodgepodge of swinging Mozarella-Beat, Pasta&Pomodoro-Pop and some deep Spaghetti-Soul, all sung in Italiano (if you count Sardinian in). Originally, I wanted to dub this double-pack “Perdenti d’Italia / Losers of Italy”, but then again, some of the songs here actually made it to national or European song-festivals. Another teasing title was the Delfini’s “We’re Rebels ‘cos Fashion says so” tho’ I hope this controversial and politically most uncorrect claim was just a desperate attempt to get a slot in the national RAI-TV which was (in)famous for censorship and bans (go asks Mister Anima or Thane Russall). Anyway, I’m pretty sure some of my friends (ciao Vince, Old Capellon, Aldo Reale and my friend from Turino!) will enjoy these sounds here, despite the poor audio-quality (mostly hand-ripped from YouTube).
